Summer Vacation

Bala has asked me to write about summer vacations “the period which I enjoyed more in my life.

Most of my vacation leave spent in home town itself. I spent with my day time with my brother and we play carom board, thaiya kattai, pambaram. Seven stones , hide & seek. In the evening we would flies kites. There will be huge fights in all above games and get some praise from my mom (Nalla Mudugala Adi villugum) . I am lucky to have a good friends we start playing cricket in weekends .we divide the team into three groups (our area surrounded by three streets). Each of the team should play against each other (10 over’s per team) and which are the teams will loose the game will give treat to the winning team (Only a ice cream !).

During the month of May results will come and buying new notebooks for next class and I enjoyed covering books and notebooks with beautiful labels. Brown papers are always overwhelming. Buying new pencil, eraser, pen and Geometry box is always enjoyable . Meeting the friends on first day is more exciting and happiness which can not be expressed in words

During summer vacation I traveled to Delhi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Varanasi, shirdi, Gaya, Bangalore, Kerala, Ooty and so on both with my family members and friends. Traveling in a bus or train and sitting close to the window seat is always my favorite. I also have experience by traveling at the top of the bus

Later during teens we started playing cricket in a professional way i.e. with original kits. Every month end we go to the nearest tourist spot by bike is more enjoyable

“A vacation is like love - anticipated with pleasure, experienced with discomfort and remembered with nostalgia”

Its good to bring back those good memories back again..
